CRM trainings
Crew (or Cockpit) Resource Management Training (CRM) is training for aircraft crews, which aims to train and improve the skills of "Non Technical Skills". Four categories in particular are considered: cooperation, situational awareness, leadership behavior and decision-making. The element of communication is a constant process that can be found in all categories.
CRM training takes place in the training of crew members, especially flight crews. According to the regulations, set out in the EASA part OPS, training is mandatory and must be repeated annually. The same is also used in military aviation.
Furthermore, in civil aviation, CRM skills are 'assessed' (checked) in LINE checks. CRM is intended to raise awareness that, in addition to the technical understanding on board an aircraft (technical skills), the interpersonal area is a constant companion.
Awareness of procedures and processes in this area increases professionalism and connects all onboard mental resources of the entire crew on board. The ability to work in a team is increased, flight accidents due to human error are reduced. An important element of CRM is the use and transfer of all (vital) important information within the crew, both internally and in the interaction between the cockpit and cabin crew.
The course is recognized by the LBA. At the end of the course there is a certificate.
Course fees:
EUR 189 for the CRM Refresher course plus VAT.
EUR 279 for the CRM Initial course plus VAT.
